Welcome to the website for Edinburgh University Archery Club!
EUAC is an archery club for students at the University of Edinburgh. Our sister club, Edinburgh University Alumni Archery Club (EUAAC), is open to experienced staff and graduates. Information on this club can be found on the Alumni Club page.
We are a highly competitive club, with a history of strong performances in university competitions. Our track record includes our Senior Team winning the Scottish Student Sport (SSS) Indoor League for 12 years in a row, and medalling Gold or Silver at the British Universities and Colleges Sports (BUCS) Championships over 50 times consecutively. Our Novice Squad also perform well, with great successes at their SSS and BUCS equivalents. On the open circuit, our archers have represented Scotland, Great Britain and many other national teams, and archers frequently compete regionally, nationally and internationally. If you want to be a part of the team, whether a complete novice, a seasoned professional or anything in between, we would love to meet you!
If you have never shot before, you are welcome to join our Beginners Sessions. Training times during the year are: Monday 6pm – 8pm and Thursday 7:30pm – 9:30pm.
If you have shot before, come let us know at our Welcome Week events or e-mail email@example.com so that we can help you join the right squad.
All our indoor training takes place in the Archery Range, which is housed in the Sport & Exercise Pleasance Sport Complex & Gym. During the outdoor season, training continues at the Peffermill Playing Fields.
A thriving social side to the club compliments our competitive successes. Events in Welcome Week include our infamous Mystery Pub Crawl, open to anyone, and throughout the year include various meals, pub nights, cinema trips and game nights. You can keep up to date by liking us on Facebook.
We hope to see you at the range sometime soon 🙂
