SSS 2017-18 Round-up

Last weekend saw the conclusion of our SSS year, after five league matches, the SSS Indoor Championships at the beginning of April and most recently the SSS Outdoor Championships and Head-to-Heads on our very own playing fields. A total of 26 EUAC members competed in the matches bringing together archers from novice squad, development squad, and the performance programme. Recurve, compound, barebow, and longbow archers, novice and experienced, travelled the country to continue the tradition of bringing home the league title. All our teams (experienced non-compound, novice non-compound, and compound) finished top of their league with our novice and compound teams remaining undefeated throughout all matches- well done! The SSS Indoor Championships hosted by St Andrews marked a late end of the indoor season. Nine EUAC archers fought for medals and were rewarded: Our novice team won gold, while the senior and compound teams finished in second place. A special mention must go to our novice Ove who was not only the highest scoring compound archer of the day,...

Semester 1 Highlights (2016/17)

Semester 1 Highlights (2016/17)

Many of our archers were hard at work even before the semester began! Early in July, some EUAC members helped out Team Scotland at our most successful Euronations so far. In August, EUAC had a great run in the Scottish Archery championships and British Target championships (where Hope Greenwood won for the second year running).
